Tommie Harroll “Tom” Crist, 57, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Tommie was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Snyder to Harroll and Mabel Crist. He graduated from Perryton High School in Perryton and settled in Fort Worth in 1982. He was employed as a project manager by Crist Steel and later Keystone Synergy. He met and married his wife of 13 years, Linda Cheatham of Fort Worth, on March 20, 1999.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harroll Crist, and stepson-in-law, Dale Clay.
Tommie is survived by his wife, Linda Crist of Azle; mother, Mabel Crist of Fort Worth; sisters, Lydia Simpson of Fort Worth and Pat Casas of Odessa; mother-in-law, Hattie Smith of Azle; stepdaughter, Angela Clay of Bowie; stepson, Tom Price of Fort Worth; best friend and cousin, Larry Crist of Fort Worth; stepgrandsons, David Capko II of Fort Worth and Malachi Clay of Bowie; stepgreat-grandson, Blake Capko; granddaughters, Rachel Price and Carly Price, both of Garland; nieces, Kristi Williams of Odessa and Megon Simpson of Watauga; nephews, Doug Casas of Albuquerque, N.M., Brad Simpson of Fort Worth, Joseph Casas and Jeffrey Casas, both of Odessa, and Justin Casas of San Antonio; numerous cousins, friends and coworkers.
