Tressie was born on November 9, 1940 in Tolar, Texas to J.Q. and Ima Cherry. She was married on June 29, 1957 in Glen Rose, Texas to Bobby L. Davis. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved fishing, camping and Bluegrass festivals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby L. Davis, brothers: Gene Cherry and J. Q. Cherry and one of her sisters: Ima Jo Hard.
Tressie is survived by her children: Bruce Davis and wife De, Bobby Davis and wife Angel, and Greta Davis, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters: Clara Billings and husband Harold , Susie Campbell and husband Malcolm, Marie Lewis and husband Doug, Shirley Reneau and husband Larry, Ima Lou Tullos, and De Hague and husband Gayle, and sisters-in-law: Kathie Cherry and Judy Tullos.
