Trueman C. Autry, 79, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Fort Worth.
Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal: 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Wise County.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Autry was born September 18, 1932 in Fort Worth to Carl C. and Leona Capps Autry. He has lived in Wise County and Tarrant County most of his life.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Trueman was a member of Heritage Church of Christ. His best moments in life were shared with his family and grandchildren. He has always enjoyed football on any level, high school, college and professional. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
The family would like to express gratitude and a thank you to the Heart to Heart Hospice caregivers and to “His Family” at Marine Creek Health and Rehab for the loving care given to Trueman and Mrs. Autry.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Davis Autry; children, Vence L. Autry, of Fort Worth, Trueman Phil Autry of Azle, Sabra R. Corley of Fort Worth and Lisa A. Nuttal of Fort Worth; brother, Royce Gene Autry of Jack County; sister, Vera Autry Evans of Weatherford; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
