Mrs Heffley you will be truly missed. I was very blessed to have sent time with you and get Mr Heffley. I know you touched many lives and we will all be greatful for it. Heaven has received another beautiful angel.

So thankful our son had this wonderful teacher. She was such a positive influence in his life. Remembered as one of the best teachers he ever had.
John Heffley, Jr. left a message on October 4, 2017:
My Aunt Valta will be truly missed, but all I have to do is close my eyes and she is right here again, laughing and telling one of her many wonderful stories. We grieve for the moment, but celebrate the life well-lived. Uncle Gerald, Collin, may God grant you both peace beyond all comprehension and may you both find rest in His arms. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. ~Revelation 21:4
Scott Heffley left a message on October 4, 2017:
My Aunt Valta was something special – and boy could she ever tell a story! I remember laughing at many of the tales she recounted from her days teaching. She was a positive force and she is memorable – we should all be so fortunate as to have had such an impact in life. Thinking of you Uncle Gerald and Cousin Colin.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I have known and loved Valta for about 60 years, I worked on her Mom and Dad's farm for several years before and during high school. I never saw her when she didn't have something to smile and/or laugh about. My prayers are for and with her family. God bless you all.

Yes, My Aunt Valta was a firecracker ! A wonderful sweet loveable firecracker of a lady! She will be missed. I always looked forward to seeing her & Gerald at the family gatherings and listening to her talk. I knew Gerald & Valta would come to every Heffley gathering they could! With sincere sympathy to my Uncle Gerald Heffley & my cousin Colin and their families. How blessed by God you & Valta were Uncle Gerald to have 58 years of marriage together. With love, Julie Heffley Hammond, Ross, Chris, Katie, Baby Nash, and (my husband, David in Heaven) . Baby Nash never got to meet Valta but my kids, Ross, Chris, Katie & my husband David did ....at many a Heffley family reunion!
