FORT WORTH — Velma Ruth Fried, 70, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan 28, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Burial: Rock Creek Cemetery in Somervell County.
Mrs. Fried was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Fort Worth, to Clyde Dwight Bishop and Mary Elizabeth Ollie Countess Bishop. She married Jerry Fried, Mar. 31, 1962, in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was a real loving person. She was an artist and loved to paint. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Jerry Fried; brother, Raymond Andrew Bishop; sisters, Loretta Overton and Ester Overton.
Survivors: Daughters, Lovetta Cooper and husband, Craig; Deanna Moore; grandchildren, Austin Cooper, Cristine Moore, Keith Moore; two great grandchildren; sister, Phern Ryales; and serveral nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
