Pattie Thorner left a message on July 6, 2017:
Mary, You and Wayne were the most wonderful and delightful couple. How blessed you were to have called Wayne your friend at 13 and then your loving husband and father of your girls. I can still hear Wayne's joyous and vivacious laugh and tone that was so gregarious, witty and oh so very kind and loving. The world was blessed with his warm and inviting soul and I too was blessed to have met you both when living in Tulsa as your neighbor. I am so saddened with the news of Wayne's passing but as you know he was certainly a star in our lives that shined all so bright. Love and hugs and I am so sorry I am not able to be there for Wayne's memorial service.
