Vernon “Dale” Morgan, 61, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 10, 2020 surrounded by his family after a brave fight with cancer.

Service: 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Lakeside Church of God, 9396 Confederate Park Rd., Lakeside, TX. 76135

Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Burial:  Annetta Cemetery, 2778 N. O’Neal Ave. (FM 5), Aledo, TX. 76007.

Dale was born January 13, 1959 in Fort Worth, TX.  He had a long career in the foundation drilling industry from 1979-2020.  He spent 26 of those 41 years as a devoted Superintendent at ATS Drilling Inc.  His hobbies included motorcycles, woodworking, rodeo and a passion for watching his grandson and the Buffs Baseball Team play ball along with any other activities his grandkids may have been involved in.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, father, three sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janie Morgan; daughter, Christi Beyers and her husband, Eric; daughter, Ashley Lambeth and her husband, Christian; grandchildren, Tristen, Makenzie, Layton, Lauryn, Zayleigh and Leah; cousin, Bobby McLaughlin and wife Diane; brother-in-law, Boyd Johnston and his wife, Allison; sister-in-law, Gaylynn Cummings and her husband, Tim; sister-in-law, Stacy Johnston; numerous nieces, nephews and many many friends.
