FORT WORTH — Vince F. Caldwell, 40, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Emerson Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro, Arkansas. His family will receive friends 10 a.m. to service time there.
Burial: Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Mr. Caldwell was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and had lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, California and Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Vince married Melanie B. Elder on Aug. 13, 1994, in Jonesboro. They relocated to Fort Worth in 1999.
Vince graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1990, DeVry University in 2002 and Keller School of Management in 2004. He worked at AIG Financial in Fort Worth as a systems engineer.
Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his father, Frank Caldwell, in 1989; paternal grandmother, Rena Caldwell, in 2012; paternal grandfather, “Bozo” Caldwell, in 1959; paternal great-grandparents, Zula Vincent in 2007 and Oscar Vincent in 1970.
Survivors: His wife, Melanie; daughter, Christin Cadence Caldwell of Fort Worth; mother, Sharon Caldwell of Jonesboro, Arkansas; brother, Chris Caldwell of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandparents, Chester and Charlene McGough of Jonesboro, Arkansas; aunts, Denise Snell and husband, Randy, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Sonja Sanderson and husband, Bob, of Little Rock, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Sharon Junca of Jonesboro, Arkansas; father-in-law, Vilas Elder and wife, Paulette, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Tahnya Price and husband, Danny, Amanda Waln and husband, Justin of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a large extended family.
