Vincent Jay Montemayor, 42, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Dallas, TX, following a short illness.

Vincent was born in Lubbock, Texas on January 15, 1970 and was the son of Manuel and Juanita Montemayor. He graduated from Lubbock Cooper and South Plains College. Vince will always be remembered by his loving family and many friends for his loving smile and great sense of humor. He worked in the Medical Field, was an avid gardener and animal lover-especially his chickens. He was a leader in his community and a member of many organizations, always eager to lend a helping hand. He was a shining star and will be missed deeply by all those whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Montemayor (1999), grandparents, Augustine and Maria Montemayor, Pedro and Clara Jimenez, some uncles, aunts and cousins.
those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Juanita Montemayor; sisters, Martha Ramirez, Margot Montemayor, Maria Montemayor; nephew, Jonathan Leonard; niece, Jennifer Leonard and many family members and friends.
