VIRGINIA DAUGHERTY

GRANBURY – Virginia Daugherty, born March 4, 1928, died March 6, 2014 in Granbury, Texas.
Service: 10:00 A.M. graveside service, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Curtis Cemetery in Weatherford, followed by a Celebration of Life and visitation with the family at the First Presbyterian Church (Fellowship Hall), 300 W. Bridge St., Granbury at 11:30 a.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Granbury or the American Heart Association.
Virginia grew up in Weatherford, TX and married W.D. “Dub” Daugherty on August 4, 1948. She and Dub lived in Fort Worth from 1948 until returning to Weatherford in 1983. They enjoyed 29 years of retirement together, travelling, playing golf, fishing and living on the Brazos River. Dub preceded her in death in 2004.
Survivors: Virginia is survived by her three children, Connie Darne’ (Earl) of Granbury, Cynthia Keller of Lakeland, FL and Randy Daugherty (Debbie) of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Melissa and Ryan Miller (Mara); Joel and Douglas Keller, Amber Daugherty, Chelsea Mirelez and one great-grandson, Colin Mireiez.
