Virginia “Nana” Hughes, 84, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Virginia was born on June 29, 1933 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Elva and Jewell Whitt. She loved her family unconditionally. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She wouldn’t miss a basketball game. She also enjoyed fishing and watching sports of all types. She was an active member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Brown Sr. in 1994 and her second husband, Lloyd Hughes in 2000.
Virginia is survived by her son: Allen Brown, Jr. and wife Debbie, daughter: Tambrilyn Sue Brown, grandchildren: Kelly Martinez and husband Kevin, Nicholas Brown, Dillion Coplin and wife Abbie, Brendan King and Jordan King, and great grandchildren: Kaetlyn, Kaeli, Caden and Caleb.
