GRANBURY — Vivian M. Alexander, 89, of Granbury passed away December 27, 2012 in Granbury. Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2012, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury. Interment: West End Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation: 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial: First United Methodist Church of Granbury.
Vivian was born on November 18, 1923 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Robert and Johnnie Derrick. She was a jeweler and homemaker. She married John Derrell Alexander on April 5, 1957 in Weatherford. John preceded her in death on September 19, 2011. Vivian was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Granbury. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed traveling, helping others, and working in the garden.
Survived: Sons, James Alexander, Troy Holder and wife Ruth, Brothers and Sisters, Hazel Holder, R.L. Derrick, Jr., Vernon Derrick and wife Joann, Zelma Hancock. Several Nieces and Nephews.
