Wanda June Wade, 84, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017.
Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017, at Dido United Methodist Church in Fort Worth.
Wanda was born April 4, 1933, in Pilot Point to Bazz and Effie Williams. She devoted much of her career to AARP before retiring to care for her mother. She enjoyed movies, reading, writing, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Effie and B.C. Williams; brother, Johnny Williams; daughters, Deidre Gee and Donna Tyler; and niece, Johnnie Aldene Williams.
Survivors: Daughter, Debbie Plummer of Euless; son, Gregory Wade of Fort Worth; niece, Nikki Dotson of Fort Worth; four granddaughters, Charlotte Salas of Saginaw, Jennifer Shaw of Fort Worth, Robyn Prinz of Euless, and Sandra Newton of Texarkana, Ark.; eight great-grandchildren, James and Joseph Salas of Saginaw, Tanner, Natalee, and Jarrett Shaw of Fort Worth, Justin and Dakota Prinz of Euless, and Bill Newton IV of Texarkana, Ark.; great-nephew, John D. Scott of Fort Worth; and many other friends and family members.
