GRANBURY — Wanda Matheson, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Matheson was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Stephenville, to Milton and Modena Hudson Henden. She married Charles Chester Matheson, Feb. 26, 1965, in Houston, Texas. She had lived in Granbury since 1991 and was a member of the Granbury First United Methodist Church. She served as secretary for American District Telegraph for 30 years. She loved to travel. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.
Survivors: Son, Doug Phillips and wife, Roxanna, of Granbury; grandsons, Daren Phillips of Savanah, Ga., Troy Phillips and wife, Shannon, of Newton N.C.; granddaughter, Darla French of Tomball, Texas; and four great grandchildren.
