Wayne Edward Marsh

Wayne Edward Marsh, 84, joined our Lord in heaven on Wednesday, September 3, 2014.

Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal with military honors: Azleland Memorial Park.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Wayne Edward Marsh was born in Searcy, Arkansas, and graduated from Pangburn High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army from 1951 through 1953 in a combat engineer company with the 6th Army.

He married Jimmy Faye McLarry in 1952 and they moved to Texas. Wayne was called to the ministry in 1956 and attended the Arlington Baptist College. He worked for Lennox Industries for 33 years before retirement in 1991.

Wayne was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Daughtrey.

Hew is survived by: His wife of 62 years, Jimmy Faye; children, Rickey and wife, Kathy, Rachel, Regina and husband, Steve, Richard and wife, Leona; grandchildren, Angela, Crystal, Rebecca, Charlotte, Stephani, Kimberly, Kathryn and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Megan, Jana, Matalyn, Ryla, Alyssa, Dylan, Dakota, Mckenzie, Isaiah and Kayla.
