Bill Straw “kicked the bucket” January 19, 2020.
He was cremated with his remains to be scattered in his beloved Flint Hills in Northwest Elk County, Kansas.
Bill was born April 13, 1936 in rural Tarrant County. He lived his life in Tarrant County, with the exception of three years when he lived on a ranch in Elk County, Kansas. He attended and graduated from high school in Piedmont, Kansas.
He has been a resident of Saginaw since 1958. He served several positions in Saginaw, including City Councilman and Mayor.
He is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Patricia; one son, Willie Eldon and wife, Tammy of Gorman; two daughters, Pamela and husband, Richard Miller of Lake Country, Brenda and husband, E.G. (Jack) Argraves of Decatur; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
