Wesley Leon Bullard, 76, passed away on Tuesday; March 8, 2022 at his home in Granbury. He was born May 22, 1945 in Cleburne, Texas to John Wesley and Mattie O’Neal Bullard.
Leon retired from Hood County Road Maintenance after 20 years of dedicated service. He loved spending time with his family and making friends. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. Leon was a true cowboy and was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Johnnie Overbey and LaDonna Stevens and by a brother, Ronald Bullard.
Leon is survived by his wife, Darlene Bullard; daughter, Trish Grieme (Jeff); son, Wesley Aaron Bullard (Amy); step-sons, Todd Schmitt (Katrina) and Eric Schmitt (Janet); eight granddaughters, seven grandsons and 19 1/4 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Bullard.
Visitation will be from 4-6pm. Saturday; March 12, 2022 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury.
Funeral services will be held 3pm. Sunday; March 13, 2022 at the Triple Cross Cowboy Church, 3470 Lipan Hwy. in Granbury with Pastor DeWayne Harris officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery in Cleburne under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
