Willard Henslee Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather was called home to our Lord and Savior on February 22, 2023.
Willard was born August 31, 1947, in Stephenville, Texas to Doc and Mary Henslee from Tolar, Texas. He served his country in the Marines from 1969 to 1971.
Willard Henslee had a lengthy career. He retired from Six Flags over Texas where he was a maintenance foreman. He then was a building engineer for 20 plus years taking care of many medical facilities in and around Fort Worth, TX. He was really what you call a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. In his youth, he enjoyed boating and water skiing and could ski 10 miles. Also, he loved fishing as well playing his guitar and singing.
Willard is survived by his wife Shelly; his children, Cindy Gavin and husband Francis, Amy Hansen and husband Erik, Charon Henslee and husband Dennis and stepson Roger Hammons.
Grandchildren; Austin, Logan and wife Miranda, Jonathan and wife Katrina, Jorden, Blain, Gabriel, Caleb, Ashton, Shelby and Lindsey. Great grandchildren; Kara, Sara, Abigail and Kayce Siblings; brother Ricky Henslee and sister Sheila Parker
Williard was preceded in death by his parents and 14 siblings.
Celebration of Life service will be held on March 4, 2023, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 E, in Granbury at 1:00 o’clock PM on Saturday.
