William “Bill” Carl Ruttman, Jr. 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Memorial Mass: 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. There will be a memorial gathering in Pennsylvania at a later date.
Bill was born November 18, 1929 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He was married to his wife Rose for 65 years. Bill served in the Air Force during the Korean War; and was a product engineer and electroplater at Philco Ford, Honeywell, and Elco Corporations. He recently relocated with family to Texas.
Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved being with family, traveling to his grandchildren’s sporting events, doing puzzles, playing pinochle and poker with family and friends, and keeping boxes of mementos.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Sara (Hofmann) Ruttman; son, William J. Ruttman; and brothers James Ruttman and George Ruttman.
Bill is survived by his wife, Rose (Certa) Ruttman; daughters, Patricia Hunter and husband, Richard and Karen Muller and husband, Chuck; grandchildren, Lindsay Graf and husband, Chase, Cody Muller and fiancé, Nicole Duca and Krista Ruttman; great-granddaughters, Harper Faye Graf and Eva Ruttman; sister, Sue Milke and husband, Ray; brother, John Ruttman and wife, Joyce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
