Mr. Holman was born Mar. 23, 1921, in Carbondale, Ill., to Ray L. Holman and Myrtle Mae Mansfield Holman. While serving in the Navy during World War II, Bill, and ardent patriot, met and married Midge, his wife of 49 years. After Midge’s passing in 1993, he met and married the second love of his life, Vern, and they were married 15 years. For 39 years, Bill served as Regional Sales Manager for Norwich Pharmaceutical. Bill was a man of many passions including the Texas Rangers (never missing a televised game), daily crossword puzzles, painting and golf until his health declined. Bill was a Mason and a man who loved his friends and the community of De Cordova. His parents, Myrtle and Ray Holman and his wife, Midge, preceded him in death. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Lake Granbury Medical Center for their compassionate care.
