GRANBURY — William Clayton Hayworth, Jr., 65, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Granbury, Texas.
Service: 3 P.M. Saturday, October 24, 2015 Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Interment: Nubbin Ridge Cemetery, Hood County.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
William “Billy” was born on July 20, 1950 in Cleburne, Texas to William Clayton “Slick” Hayworth and Beverly A. White. He was a graduate of Granbury High School and proudly served his country in the National Guard. Billy was a self employed carpenter and home builder. He was a Christian man and liked hunting, fishing and enjoyed playing baseball when he was young. He enjoyed planning for family visits and loved cooking for everyone.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Clayton “Slick” Hayworth in 1988 and his sister Retta Hayworth Hurley in 1979.
Survivors: Son, Samuel C. Hayworth and fiancé, Becky Vaughn; daughter, Amy A. Hayworth and husband, Lynn Robinson; grandchildren, Devon Hayworth and Christian Robinson; mother, Beverly Hayworth; sisters, Jeanie Hayworth and Rhonda Hayworth George; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
