GRANBURY — William Leon Weaver, 52, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 in Dallas.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Interment: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Leon was born Jan. 8, 1963 in Cleburne to Douglas and Sandra Kerr Weaver. He loved to play the guitar and go to live music shows. He was an avid fisherman and gardener but his greatest love was being with his family, friends and his seven puppies. Leon spent a lot of his last four years worrying about what he could do for other people. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Gideon Asher Weaver, Beryl Odette Weaver, Berry Ben Kerr and Willie May Pendergrass; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors: Mother, Sandra Ann Kerr Weaver; father, Douglas Gideon Weaver, Sr.; brothers, Douglas Gideon Weaver, Jr. and wife, Heidi and Wesley Steven Weaver and wife, Dawn; nephews, Steven Weaver, Eric Weaver and Thomas Weaver; nieces, Alexandra Weaver and Madison Weaver; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and seven dogs that were like children to him.
