After Hiram Bill taught for two years before joining the USAF. He loved flying fighters above all else and flew the F4 Phantom and the F-5 during his 20 years of service to his country. He served at Torrejon AB in Spain, RAF Bentwaters in England, Dhahran Air Base in Saudi Arabia, Ramstein Headquarters USAFE in Germany, ending his career at Holloman AFB, New Mexico. For the next 20 years he flew for Northwest/Delta before retiring.
After a well-earned retirement, he played golf, read, played and worked on his computer, and enjoyed being a part of his family and their interests and hobbies. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
