Will T. Gregg, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Memorial service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2018, beloved Snake Ranch, the Gregg family home, Gathering preceding the service from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, beloved Snake Ranch, the Gregg Family Home. Memorials may be made to the Fireman’s Relief Association or to the Presbyterian Night Shelter.
Will was born on June 28, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert and Osta Gregg. He had a strong work ethic. He was a Fort Worth Fireman for 31 years, and a member of the Rescue Squad and Dive Team. He was a construction lineman and had a moving business “Gregg Moving” for many years.
Will married Nancy Beaver on September 4, 1966 in Briar, Texas. He loved his family, was larger than life and could leap tall buildings.
Will loved vegetable gardening, cutting firewood, raising livestock, riding horses, and cooking outside. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Gregg Gilliam.
Will is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy Gregg, sons: Rob Gregg and Patrick Gregg and wife Brandi, grandchildren: Meg Gilliam Turner, Mary Jo Gilliam, Hattie Gregg, and Grady Gregg, great-grandchildren: Ryan Turner, and Alexandria Turner, brother: Pat Gregg and wife Chris, sister: Connie Stone and husband Jeff, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
